Happy Sunday y'all! Can you believe that August is almost over? We are now officially 3/4 of the way through 2020. I'm not gonna lie, I really thought we were going to make it through August without many crazy things happening and then this week we had two hurricanes headed our way, we had a fantastic actor pass away from cancer and we also received news in our family that we are choosing to keep private at this time. 

Friday Finds August 28

 

Happy last weekend of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Just a quick update on how we came through Hurricane Laura. We were lucky and did not receive any damage to our house, just a few lost tree limbs. The biggest struggle was keeping our internet connected, so we did lose wifi for a little bit, making it hard to get some work done on the blog to get ahead for the weekend with the unexpected day off yesterday. 

Disney Animated Movie Challenge: Part X

 

Hey Y'all! I know it's been a long time since I posted one of these. Honestly, my ADD has been through the roof when it comes to reading and watching TV Shows and Movies. I've honestly probably started watching at least 10 TV shows and started like 3 different movie challenges. It probably also doesn't help that the sections of the movie challenge we're in are movies that I haven't seen and what I consider to be some of the slump of good Disney movies.

Happy Sunday y'all! So much going on right now down here. Can you believe we are getting close to Labor Day and the official end of summer? Schools in my hometown start on Monday and those school zones they have been turning on this week are definitely throwing me off! 

Target August 2020 Haul

 

Hey y'all! I can't believe we are halfway through August and fall is right around the corner. It honestly feels like I just started going to the pool and really getting my summer tan going. Thankfully being in the south right now will have its advantages, such as longer warmer weather to get my tan to last through the winter.

If you've been following me on Instagram this week, you know that I have been talking probably excessively about the Nordstrom sale, but honestly it's one of the biggest sales of the year and you can't pass on these amazing deals. I did a poll on Instastories of what you wanted me to share next with the sale, and it's no surprise that the winner was lounge wear.

We are getting full swing into the Nordstrom Anniversary sale and I can't wait to shop the sale tomorrow morning. I wanted to get some men's wear shared with this sale and who better to make the pics than my brother. While he may not seem like it sometimes, my brother is actually a very fashionable guy who had a boujee side to him.

This anniversary is like Christmas in July for us shopaholics. If you haven't hear of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, here's what it basically is. Nordstrom gets all their fall items in and they put them on major discount for a few weeks and then they go back up to the original price so you can get your favorite name brand price at an amazing price or you can stock up on your fall basics at an affordable price.
