Target August 2020 Haul

Hey y'all! I can't believe we are halfway through August and fall is right around the corner. It honestly feels like I just started going to the pool and really getting my summer tan going. Thankfully being in the south right now will have its advantages, such as longer warmer weather to get my tan to last through the winter.

However, it is a little strange to see the stores starting to bring out their fall items, such as sweaters and jackets, when it's still over 100 degrees outside and I'm sweating walking to the car in the parking lot. This month, Target released tons of new graphic tees and those are my weaknesses. I ended up walking out with four new shirts and I also decided to try out a pair of their jeans.

See my August haul below!

This graphic tee was actually the first item I saw when walking into the store. I was actually looking for the popular tie dye Def Leppard shirt, but this one was hanging up for everyone to see. I'm a huge fan of Whitney Houston and especially love her song "I Want To Dance With Somebody", so I couldn't resist getting this shirt. I did my normal size up to a Large for a slight oversized look. If you want a full oversized look, I would size up at least two sizes. It's currently available for $14.99.

This Rolling Stones graphic tee has been a popular icon to use on graphic tees all summer long and it's no surprise why, since it's such an iconic logo. I honestly can't stop wearing this tee. I actually snagged this one in an X-Large, because they were sold out in Larges, but I love the length of it to wear with leggings for a causal look or the classic oversized with nike shorts look I have sported since my college years. It's currently available for $12.99

I knew I needed to grab some staple items to help transition from summer to fall fashion and what better way than this classic denim jacket from Universal Thread. It was honestly hard to decide which size to get because you can't try on in store, but I decided to go with the Medium and it fits me perfect. The length of the sleeves hit right at the wrist, which is always a factor for me to size up to a Large because of my height and it stretches out. The denim is a light-weight feel to wear I can start wearing it now and not feel overheated in it and I currently love wrapping it around my waist while wearing T-Shirt dresses. This jacket comes in two different denim washes and is currently available for $29.99.

I saw another blogger wearing a sweatshirt version this tie dye hoodie and while I loved that, this hoodie really stood out to me. I love the color mix of the green and blue and the cropped feeling of it to pair well with either high rise jeans or leggings for a casual look. I'm all about comfy outfits, if you haven't noticed by now and this one will definitely be one of my top outfit wears this year. This hoodie comes in another tie dye pattern and in some solid colors and is currently available for $18.

While I was in Target, I decided to try out one of their brand's jeans. Target is another retailer that sells Levi's, but I wanted to see how their jeans would fit and feel. I grabbed these wild fable high rise distressed mom jeans in my normal size 10 and didn't realize they were a straight look until after I got home. I didn't really think I would like them at first, but I ended up really loving them. Paired with the graphic tees or with the hoodie is giving me major 90's vibes', especially when paired with the Birkenstock's as pictured here. These are currently available for $22.

I had originally only walked out of Target the first time with only the first two graphic tees, and then went back a week later to grab a few things I needed and saw that they just released a whole new stack of tees, including these two tees and I couldn't leave them behind.

This Disney Princess tee is one of my favorites, because it has the OG princesses on it and it's actually hard to find Disney shirts at Target that don't have Mickey or the Fab Five on them. I snagged this shirt to wear for future Disney Challenge posts, but also because, as we know, I'm a huge Disney Princess fan. For any Disney fan, this shirt is a must buy and is currently available for $14.99

This Jurassic Park tee is perfect to continue on with the 90's vibes that I feel like I fell into with this haul and I love the cropped look of this graphic tee. I was also very drawn to the colors in the tee because they were different from the bright colors you normally see on graphic tees. I sized up in this shirt also to continue having an oversized looser fit. This shirt is currently available for $12.99
