Ways to Style Faux Leather Leggings

Hey y'all! If you've been following me on Instagram for a while, you know that my most used Nordstrom Sale purchase this year were these Spanx Faux Leather Leggings. I've been seeing these all over the gram and, as you know, I'm a huge advocate for comfy style. I was able to snag these at a great price, but trust me, they are worth the $98.

Today, I wanted to share with you the different ways that I've styled these leggings so far and also give y'all different options to purchase if you don't want to spend the $98 on the Spanx pair.

1. Blazer and Heels - This one is probably one of my favorite ways to style these leggings to make them work appropriate, especially as most of us are working from home. I paired them here with an oversized blazer to add length to the top to cover the elastic band of the leggings.

2. Graphic Tee + Sneakers - This is probably my most worn style for lounging around the house or going to run errands quickly. I tied a denim jacket around my waist to add a pop of color to the all black outfit, but you can also add a pop of color with the sneakers or with the graphic tee.

3. Sweatshirt - Another great lounge look for the colder weather. I had fun with this one by pairing it with a leopard sweatshirt. I also paired it with thigh high boots to dress it up a little bit, but it would also work with sneakers, booties or combat boots.

4. Sherpa Jacket - Okay y'all know that I love my sherpas, so of course I had to include this styling in this blog post. Again another cozy styling, but perfect for the winter months. Another outfit that can by styled with a number of different shoes, but again I styled them with thigh high boots to dress them up a little bit and finished it with a blue hair tie.

5. Sweater and mules - this can go either way of whether it's more casual or dressed up. I loved not only pairing these leggings with a colored sweater, but also adding a pop of pattern with the leopard mules. The distressed edges of the sweater hits at just the right spot on the leggings to not be an oversized look, but a clean look. This would be a great outfit to go out to brunch or drinks with friends.

6. White Shirt and Denim Jacket - Some may say that this is similar to the styling with the graphic tee, but I disagree. While I did tie the denim jacket around my waist for this picture (hello hot weather), I would rather style the white tee while wearing the denim jacket. And of course, the leopard sneaks adds pattern to the outfit.

7. Tunic - This is my newest styling and I'm obsessed with it. Another more casual look that you can pair up, but we all love a waffle knit tunic shirt. You're able to wear it by itself because it's long enough to cover the top of the leggings.
